EconData is a web service primarily intended for the organising, processing, storing, and dissemination of economic data. It includes facilities for the creation and maintenance of rich metadata that describe the data structure, dataflows, data providers and data consumers of its data sets. It uses this metadata to provide a mechanism for data discovery, data validation, and authorisation of requests.
